Cosmacon hit by e-mail attack

Several persons and companies recently have received e-mails by a sender named Cosmacon GmbH. These mails, however, have not been sent by Cosmacon GmbH.

 

The fake e-mails with the reference « Re: #AB_1208035″.pdf.  …..SURVEY BELOW » request the receiver to click on „Open Scanned File“ which allegedly  contains 5 attachments.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you receive such an e-mail, delete it immediately and do not open the attachment.

 

In case, you have opened the attachment, you should have your system checked by an expert.

 

Cosmacon GmbH regrets the incident and apologizes to all affected for the trouble.
