- +40% hair shine compared to placebo when using 0.5% 3Dermilyn®
- The effect is equivalent to amodimethicone, a well-known silicone-based shine enhancer.
- Shine was measured quantitatively with a gloss meter, which underscores the significance of the data.
Hair hydration:
- At 0.5% 3Dermilyn®, a +29% increase in moisture was observed compared to placebo.
- At 1% use, there was even a +39% increase, measured by the enthalpy of water evaporation (ΔHvap).
- This method not only shows the water content, but also how strongly water is bound to the hair—a clear indicator of true deep hydration.
The data clearly shows that even 0.5% 3Dermilyn® is an effective concentration for achieving visible and noticeable effects.
