Mela Annurca
Der Mela Annurca Apfel gehört zu den Obstsorten, die bereits in der Antike vor rund 2000 Jahren angebaut wurden. Seinen guten Ruf hat er sich bis in die Gegenwart erhalten. Dies liegt nicht zuletzt an seinem guten Aussehen, sondern insbesondere auch an dem saftig süßlichen Geschmack der Äpfel. Der Mela Annurca ist ein knackiger, aromatischer Apfel mit der richtigen Balance von Fruchtsäure und Süße. Liebevoll wird er unter den Apfelsorten als die Königin der Herzen genannt, dies nicht zuletzt aufgrund seiner einheitlichen roten Farbe. Der Annurca Apfel kann als Inhaltsstoff in Kosmetika und Hautpflegeprodukten verwendet werden. Er ist reich an Antioxidantien, Vitaminen und Mineralien, die dazu beitragen können, die Haut zu nähren und zu schützen.
Abbau und Ernte des Mela Annurca
Angebaut wird der Mela Annurca im südlichen Teil Italiens wie in Garcia Campi Flegrei in der Nähe von Neapel, in Aversa der Provinz Caserta oder Telesina, was in der Provinz Benevent liegt. Der wichtigste Anbauort ist jedoch Kampanien und Latium, die von hier stammenden Mela Annurca Äpfel erobern das Herz eines jeden Italieners.
Die Erntezeit des Mela Annurca Apfels findet im Oktober statt und dauert ca. zwei Monate an. Teilweise wird der Apfel vor seiner endgültigen Reifung gepflückt, um Verletzungen an der Schale oder Quetschungen beim Herunterfallen zu vermeiden. Nach dem Pflücken werden die Annurca Äpfel auf dem Boden verteilt und in regelmäßigen Abständen umgedreht. Hier erhalten sie noch einmal die letzten warmen Sonnenstrahlen, die dem Apfel seine endgültig rote Farbe verleihen. Interessant ist sicher auch, dass der Mela Annurca einen kurzen Stiel hat. Dies verhindert, dass die schweren Früchte schnell vom Baum fallen. Gleichzeitig begünstigt dieser Umstand die Ernte der Bauern. Unter guten Umständen können die Äpfel dann bis zum nächsten Sommer gelagert werden.
Wertvolle Substanzen auch für die Kosmetikindustrie
Die Apfelsorte Mela Annurca enthält hohe Anteile von Vitamin A und C, ferner auch eine spezielle Art der Apfelsäure, die ihm seinen charakteristischen Geschmack verleiht. In Verbindung mit Mineralstoffen wie Eisen und Kalium finden sich hier auch ideale Substanzen zur Pflege der Haut. Diese Substanzen des Mela Annurca Apfels unterstützen die Straffung der Haut und regulieren den Feuchtigkeitshaushalt. Sie fördern die Regeneration während der Nacht und haben einen erheblichen Anteil am Schutz vor oxidativem Hautstress. Dazu gehören die speziellen Fruchtsäuren und neben den bereits genannten Mineralien auch die enthaltenden Tannine. In Hautcremes zählen diese Inhaltsstoffe zu den wichtigsten Substanzen für ein frisches und jugendliches Aussehen.
